Dr. Kautzmann received a Ph.D. in Philosophy in 1977 and a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1983. Dr. Kautzmann has won several refereed conferences including Best Paper Awards from the Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems Division of the Instrument Society of America at NASA - JSC. Dr. Kautzmann is a member of Sigma Xi, a Senior Member in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers [IEEE}, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics [AIAA], the Instrument Society of America [ISA], the American Mathematical Society, the American Statistical Association, The New York Academy of Science and several international mathematical societies. Dr. Kautzmann is a member of 27 national honor societies.
