Fujitsu concludes global IT deal with Reuters
Fujitsu Services has been awarded a worldwide contract for the internal IT infrastructure of Reuters, the world's largest news and information provider.


/Computer Trades News Articles/ - REYKJAVIK, ICELAND, August 23, 2007 - Fujitsu Services, a leading European IT services company, has agreed to a 10-year contract with Reuters to provide IT services for all of Reuters' 17,500 global employees.

Fujitsu will transform Reuters' internal computer systems so that users can gain seamless and secure access to IT services from anywhere in the world. The IT solution will be supported by Fujitsu's multi-lingual service desks in Lisbon and Kuala Lumpur and data centre services will be provided from facilities around the world. The changes will offer Reuters significant productivity improvements and improve their competitive edge.
